More Than Diplomacy

In today’s fast-changing world, leadership, adaptability, and communication are no longer “nice to have”—they’re essential for every career path

Our graduating students proudly presenting their final reports at the Diplomatic Perspective program graduation.

At Diplomatic Perspective (DP), we’re not just preparing students for diplomacy. We’re preparing them for life. Our mission is to equip youth and young adults with globally transferable skills that empower them to become ethical, strategic, and changemakers in every sector—from law and education to healthcare, technology, and entrepreneurship.

While our roots are grounded in diplomacy, our mission has always been bigger: to equip students to lead in any field.

That’s why we’ve made a strategic pivot from the U.S. Department of State’s original 9 Skills of Diplomacy to the newly adopted 12 Dimensions—a more comprehensive and inclusive leadership framework.

From 9 Skills ➡ To 12 Dimensions

What Are the 12 Dimensions and Why They Matter Everywhere

Developed by the U.S. Department of State to identify and assess Foreign Service Officers, the 12 Dimensions offer a modern blueprint for the real-world skills leaders need in any career.
