"At Diplomatic Perspective, we believe global learning shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be a right."
That’s why we’re proud to announce our partnership with Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC) through their innovative Worldview Wednesdays (WVW) initiative. Together, we’ve brought our Diplomatic Leaders Development Program (DLDP) directly into the classroom, reaching students where they are—every week.

What This Means for Students
Through this partnership, 40 CHEC students have engaged in weekly, experiential learning that cultivates civic engagement, emotional wellbeing, global citizenship, and personal leadership. From vision boarding and personality assessments to study abroad pathway mapping, students have developed the confidence and skills to imagine—and pursue—a future beyond borders.
Why This Matters
Global and civic education is not just enrichment; it’s preparation. According to national research:
📈 42% of students involved in global learning are more likely to pursue international education.
🧠 55% report stronger self-confidence and emotional wellbeing. (Sources: CIEE 2023 Impact Report, NAFSA 2022 Outcomes Study)
These outcomes are at the core of our mission—to empower youth to become future-ready leaders through access to international learning and cross-cultural engagement.
CHEC’s Worldview Wednesdays: A School-Wide Impact Model
CHEC’s WVW initiative has brought in 32 partners into their campus, including students from 6th – 12th grade, to offer immersive, hands-on learning. We’re honored to stand among this powerful network of changemakers and deeply grateful to the CHEC leadership team:
Ms. Maria Tukeva, Principal of Bell Multicultural High School
Mr. Anthony Sanford, Connected School Manager
Mr. Daniel Bellido, High School Community Development Coordinator
Ms. Alyssa Alvarado, Middle School Community Development Coordinator
Your vision and dedication have made this impact possible.
DLDP’s New In-Class Model: Flexible. Scalable. Impactful.
Traditionally offered on Saturdays in a hybrid format, DLDP is now available as a flexible, in-classroom experience tailored for schools, districts, and youth-serving organizations. This shift allows us to expand access and create sustainable, localized learning models rooted in community needs.
